Target Group

This course is designed for all seamen (captains, engineers, abs) and the operations department, SQM department and DPA within a shipping company who would be involved in the pollution response of an incident caused by their vessel.

Course Objectives

Delegates will gain an understanding of pre-spill planning, of the legislation regarding marine pollution caused by vessels, the role of the vessel, owner and insurers, the actions that the vessel can take towards the spill response operation and the importance of Health and Safety during an oil spill.
